Welcome Barbecue

We spent a weekend on the Vineyard earlier this month and had a great time meeting with some of the people who will help make our big day possible.

Despite a pending storm, we managed to sneak in a few shots around Edgartown.

We cannot wait to head back in a few weeks and celebrate with all of you!

Ferry reservations for Steamship Authority open tomorrow!

Thinking about bringing your car onto the Island? The Steamship Authority will begin accepting reservations tomorrow at 7:30 am. You can make your reservation online or over the phone.

Happy Minus One Year Anniversary!

Since we just so happened to be on the Vineyard, we strolled down the street from the Barnes-Hughes house to the church we'll be getting married in one year from our wedding day. (Minus One Year Anniversary as Tom called it.) 

Our weekend proved to be less productive planning-wise than we had hoped but was just the mini-break we needed and filled with visits to lots of our favorite spots. Tom was even brave enough to take a quick swim in the ocean!  

Bonus: We got to celebrate Father's Day with Jim Barnes over brunch at State Road, the first time in a long time that two daughters had been with him to celebrate.
