Since we just so happened to be on the Vineyard, we strolled down the street from the Barnes-Hughes house to the church we'll be getting married in one year from our wedding day. (Minus One Year Anniversary as Tom called it.)
Our weekend proved to be less productive planning-wise than we had hoped but was just the mini-break we needed and filled with visits to lots of our favorite spots. Tom was even brave enough to take a quick swim in the ocean!
Bonus: We got to celebrate Father's Day with Jim Barnes over brunch at State Road, the first time in a long time that two daughters had been with him to celebrate.
